MOYÉ RECOMMENDED BY DALLAS MORNING NEWS A SECOND TIME THIS ELECTION CYCLE
Eric Moyé, first recommended by The Dallas Morning News in the Democratic
Primary, has received a glowing review and recommendation for the General
Election. Read the excerpt below:
"Mr. Moyé, a 54-year-old Democrat, outshines his 39-year-old
GOP opponent. Mr. Moyé has practiced law significantly longer, and
once served as presiding judge of the 101st Civil District Court. He has
experience that the younger Republican can't match."

ERIC MOYÉ RECOMMENDED BY DALLAS MORNING NEWS
“Mr. Moyé is the clear choice in this
race.”
Excerpt as published in The Dallas Morning News on January 24, 2008:
“Eric V. Moyé has what voters look for in a strong judicial
candidate. He's served on the bench before and spent his legal career representing
a wide array of clients, from individuals to large companies and Dallas ISD.
He teaches trial law in an annual workshop at his alma mater, Harvard Law
School.
Add to that his long list of supporters from throughout the legal world and across the political spectrum – Rafael Anchía, Martin Frost and Ron Kirk, just to name a few of the Democrats – and Mr. Moyé clearly is a smart choice in the Democratic primary for the 14th Civil District Court in Dallas County.
Mr. Moyé, 53, grew up in New York but earned his bachelor's degree
at Southern Methodist University in 1976 before attending Harvard Law School.
He was active in housing and economic issues in southern Dallas in the 1980s
and held leadership roles in the Dallas Bar Association, Leadership Dallas
Alumni Association and other groups.
He was appointed to the 101st Civil District Court post by Gov. Ann Richards
in 1993…Mr. Moyé is the clear choice in this race.”
